Top 9 Best Beaches In Phu Quoc Vietnam
Phu Quoc is considered one of the top 20 best tourist attractions in Vietnam because of its magnificent landscapes, picture-perfect beaches, crispy, clean air, and serene atmosphere.
We went to Phu Quoc multiple times, and each time we did, we spent most of our time sunbathing on the beach. You will fall in love with the beaches on this list of the most incredible beaches in Phu Quoc.
1. Sao Beach, commonly referred to as Bai Sao
On the island of Phu Quoc, the beach that most individuals agree is the most stunning is Sao Beach. This beach has crystal clear sand, white in color and as smooth as cream.
In addition to the crystal clear water in which one can see to the bottom of the ocean, the sand in Sao Beach on Phu Quoc is noted for its silky smoothness, which gives visitors the impression that they are walking on clouds.
In addition to that, the fact that mountain ranges surround this region makes the landscape here even more breathtaking.
2. The Ong Lang Beach, also known as Bai Ong Lang
In addition to its clear water, snow-white sand, and warm sunshine, Ong Lang Beach is notable for its rocky coastlines and serves as an excellent vantage point for watching the sunset.
This beach is excellent for engaging in other outdoor activities, such as cooking or group games. You can spend the day paddling around on kayaks to get a better feel for the surrounding area and then cap off the day with a candlelit dinner on the shore as the sun sets.
Ong Lang Beach is home to many five-star resorts, making it an ideal relaxing location.
During our vacation on Phu Quoc island, we made multiple trips to the beautiful Ong Lang beach. We could take in the breathtaking view of the setting sun and the majesty of the natural world in the late afternoon while seated on rocks of varying forms and facing the water.

3. The beach of starfish
Ganh Dau Beach, also known as Starfish Beach, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever visited.
The sight of thousands of starfish lying around like this can't be replicated anywhere else, making it a unique experience.
Between January and May, Starfish Beach is at its most beautiful. It would be best to avoid going there while it's hot out and when storms are more likely.
4. Long Beach, also known as Bai Truong
Long Beach, one of the top 10 best beaches in Vietnam, can be found in the southwest corner of Phu Quoc Island, and its coastline extends for more than 20 kilometers, all the way from Dinh Cau Port to North An Thoi.
The beach is parallel to the major road that runs through Tran Hung Dao, where you will find approximately 70 percent of the resorts, restaurants, souvenir stores, and other tourist amenities in Phu Quoc.
Long Beach is the most popular beach in Phu Quoc because visitors may also participate in various other activities there in addition to being able to rest on the sand.
Walking along Long Beach at night is one of our favorite things to do since we can enjoy both the sound of the waves and the sight of the dazzling lights emanating from the resorts.

5. Pineapple Beach (Hon Thom) and surrounding areas
Hon Thom Phu Quoc ( or Pineapple Beach ) is enticing because of the natural beauty that has been preserved despite its remote location, which is roughly 35 kilometers to the northeast of Duong Dong town.
By coming here, you may completely submerge yourself in the expansiveness of the sea and the crisp, clean air.
You may take a cable car out into the water from the port of An Thoi and ride it to Hon Thom. My trip guide to Pineapple Island contains additional information on the topic.
6. Fingernail Island, also known as the island of Mong Tay
Fingernail Island, located to the south of Phu Quoc Island, is another beautiful destination for vacationers.
The island was once home to a diverse collection of Mong Tay trees, also known as Pemphis Acidula, where the name of the island derives from. The number of these trees gradually diminished with time, making space for thousands of coconut trees.
This island is a fantastic location for scuba diving among the coral reefs. There are 17 different kinds of anemones and corals, making Vietnam's marine ecosystem the most diverse.
It was a wonderful experience when we went on an island hopping excursion to Fingernail Island, Gam Ghi Island, and May Rut Island.

7. The island of May Rut
Canoeing to May Rut Island takes roughly ten minutes from Fingernail Island, located more than 10 kilometers southwest of An Thoi.
This untouched island is home to a calm beach lined with palm fronds in neat rows. It is possible to swim hundreds of kilometers away from the coast in the water in May Rut since it is not very deep, and it is also convenient for viewing corals or simply unwinding in the freshwater.
The maritime environment is home to various organisms, such as fish, shrimp, crabs, shellfish, snails, etc.
8. Rach Vem beach - Start Fish beach
Rach Vem Beach is a serene beach located 25 kilometers from the central part of Duong Dong and surrounded by the Rach Vem fishing village. Rach Vem is an amalgamation of humankind and the natural world.
As you go along the beach and through the fishing hamlet, you can take in the picturesque views of the ocean, the sky, the sand, the coconut trees, the fishing boats, and the floating houses in the distance.
Like the other beaches in Phu Quoc, Rach Vem Beach has crystalline, clear, and incredible salt water. Additionally, the beach has a smooth sand bank and a coconut grove. In Rach Vem, two activities to be noticed include getting up early to watch the sunrise and remaining on the beach until the sun goes down.
They are when you can observe the glittering natural beauty and see people going about their daily lives, such as throwing their nets after going offshore fishing or returning after fishing further out. On your vacation to Phu Quoc, you may even go fishing with the locals, which will undoubtedly be one of the most memorable parts of your trip.
The high concentration of starfish that can be seen on Rach Vem is one more reason why you should make it a point to visit this beach during your time in the area.
The region known as Rach Vem is commonly referred to as the kingdom of starfish. There is a good chance of encountering a starfish in any environment you explore, from the sandbank to the ocean's depths. The beach in the fishing community is tranquil from December through April of the following year. The number of starfish spotted is at its highest point of the year, and the sand is clearly visible.
9. Ganh Dau beach
It is around 20 kilometers from the heart of Duong Dong town to the north, where Ganh Dau Beach can be found on the island of Phu Quoc. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Ganh Dau Beach is the place to go. Here, the environment is calm and relaxed.
When you step onto the beach for the first time, you will immediately be surrounded by the breezy beach atmosphere. You can make out the white and golden sandbank enclosed by the beach in the shape of a crescent.

Several rock formations take on a variety of exciting forms. They have, over time, become increasingly pleasurable as a result of the influence of the seawater.
A bustling seaport, Ganh Dau Beach is home to various fishing boats that travel out to sea and return to the beach to anchor between fishing trips. You might pass the time by going to the fishing boat and purchasing freshly caught seafood from the local fisherman.
