Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake
7:00 AM: our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Hanoi. We’ll begin to Ba Be Lake. Along the way, you’ll stop to visit a Tay ethnic minority village, you can learn about their daily life and customs.
12:00 PM: We’ll also stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
1:00 PM: We’ll arrive at Ba Be National Park. From here, we’ll take a relaxing boat trip on Nang River, passing through Puong Grotto, and Widow Island.

Later, we’ll take a short hike up a nature trail leading to the ranger station and viewpoint. If time permits, you’ll also have the chance to go kayaking during sunset.
5:00 PM: we’ll visit Coc Toc Village, home to the Tay people. You’ll spend the night at a local homestay and enjoy dinner with the host family.
Day 2: Ba Be – Ban Gioc Waterfall
8:00 AM: After breakfast at the homestay, we’ll continue to Cao Bang. On the way, we’ll visit Phuc Sen Village, Nung ethnic people have passed down their traditional blacksmithing craft for generations. You’ll also see terraced rice paddies stretching across the hills.
10:00 AM: Our next stop is Ban Gioc Waterfall, located on the Vietnam near China border. This majestic waterfall is one of the most beautiful in the country. You’ll have time to walk around, take photos, and enjoy the view at your own pace.
1:00 PM: we’ll go to Cao Bang and explore Nguom Ngao Cave, it is a 2,144-meter-long cave filled with stalactites and underground formations.

We’ll finish the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a Nung family homestay in Quang Uyen.
Day 3: Cao Bang – Lang Son – Hanoi
8:00 AM: After breakfast, we’ll begin traveling through the northern passes toward Dong Dang. We’ll stop at Mother’s Temple and then visit Dong Khe, it is a historic battlefield where the Battle of Dong Khe took place in 1950 during the First Indochina War.
12:00 PM: We’ll go to Lang Son for lunch.
1:00 PM: we continue on to the historic Chi Lang Pass. This pass has played a vital role in Vietnam’s defense throughout the centuries and is known as one of the country’s strongest natural fortresses.
You’ll have time to walk around and explore Quy Mon Quan (“Gate of Monsters”), named after the many foreign armies that passed through here.
We’ll arrive back in Hanoi around 6:00 PM,and end tour.
