After two hours, you're going to arrive at Ninh Binh. To understand why Hoa Lu Ancient became Vietnam's capital at the end of the ninth century, you will first visit two temples built in honor of Emperor Dinh Le, his sons, and the Queen.

11:45: Enjoy lunch at our restaurant with delicious local food.

13:30: Board the small sampan to explore Tam Coc, meaning "three caves" (1.5-hour boat ride). Tam Coc offers it all, from stunning limestone cliffs and fascinating caverns in Halong Bay to calm streams, rice farms, and green meadows in the countryside.
