At 8:00 AM, we will pick you up from Ho Chi Minh Airport or your hotel and head directly to Giac Lam Pagoda, a serene Buddhist temple dating back to the 17th century, making it one of the oldest temples in the city. Distance from city center to Giac Lam pagoda is 9 km for 30 minutes. Because Ho Chi Minh City is very crowded with traffic, it will take you more time to move.

10:00 AM, after visiting Giac Lam Pagoda, we will continue our journey to Chinatown, also known as Cho Lon, with a short drive for 10 minutes, and explore the bustling Binh Tay Market. Here, you'll witness the vibrant atmosphere of locals bartering and trading various goods, while immersing yourself in the rich and diverse Chinese culture that sets this area apart.

11:00 AM, Our next stop will be at Thien Hau Lady Temple, a magnificent temple built in the early 19th century to honour Thien Hau, the Goddess of seafarers.

As we travel along the Saigon Riverside, you'll have the opportunity to admire the impressive Bitexco Building, which holds historical significance as the place where Ho Chi Minh's President departed Vietnam for the first time in 1911.

Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels & Cao Dai Temple

Starting the tour at 7:00 AM, our driver will make our way to the Cu Chi Tunnels, located approximately 60km northwest of Saigon. Because the distance is quite far, it will take about 1 hour 30 to 2 hours depending on the traffic so that you will depart early. 

Here, you will watch documents from the Cu Chi people and soldiers during their 30-year battle for independence and freedom against aggressors. This historical site is a must-visit in Vietnam. 

From the tranquil temple, we'll venture into the war zone, where you'll witness the resourcefulness of trap doors and experience the tactics of guerrilla warfare firsthand. Despite massive bombing raids and the entry of 30,000 troops, this area remained unconquered by American forces.

13:00 PM, continuing our journey, we'll sail to Ben Tre Island, a lesser-known gem in Ben Tre province. Here, we'll experience a traditional hand-rowed sampan cruise along natural canals, indulging in seasonal fruits and honey tea while enjoying Southern Vietnamese folk music performances.
